5 Questions For Kristin
1. What is your proudest client success and why?
Growing my company, Mad Jacks, from just a product built to solve a problem our family had, to fundamentally changing the way skiers approach the mountain. I’m excited to nurture that business and reach our full potential.
2. What is your most impactful Collaboration accomplishment?
Helping the firm think larger. Michael and the rest of the team are extremely creative and provide amazing service; I love encouraging them all to be truly fearless in business. It’s fulfilling to see the team push as hard as they can for clients we genuinely believe in.
3. What is one thing people don’t commonly know about you?
I’ve been bitten by a shark! I majored in biology at UC-Santa Barbara and had an internship at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography in San Diego. My professor was studying leopard sharks, which are very docile. I was submerged in the tank cleaning, with the sharks around me when one took a nibble.
4. What is something personal we should know?
Professional drive aside, I’m first and foremost a mom to my son, Jackson (13), and daughter, Madeline (10). I’m their #1 fan. When I’m not working, I’m on the soccer field, or softball field, or baseball field cheering them on. I’m also an avid runner and kayaker — it cleanses my soul to spend time outdoors.
5. What is something you are looking forward to in the future?
Even at this stage in my career, I’m still always learning. One thing I’ve learned is to listen to the marketplace. I truly love being an expert and coming into an organization and providing a positive impact on it. With my family, I’m having so much fun watching my kids grow up and I look forward to having great times with them as they grow into young adults.
