5 Questions For Diana

Diana Ideus1. What is your proudest client success and why?
In my opinion, true success is building sustainable structures that grow and last beyond my direct impact. I was partnering with the coaching program I built at a community college as they were attempting to support a student under threat of domestic violence. As they consulted with the crisis support department I built at my organization, I was humbled by their collaborative ability to support the student in a potentially life threatening situation. Though that is a traumatic example, to watch programs and departments I developed stand successfully on their own is my measure of true success.

2. What is your most impactful Collaboration accomplishment?
I have so much gratitude for what I call the “front row seat” as I watch leaders and businesses grow and develop in ways they did not believe were possible. My most impactful Collaboration accomplishments are measured by our clients’ ability to recognize their own progress and success.

Diana Ideus3. What is one thing people don’t commonly know about you?
I taught Social Studies and Language Arts on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico. The hardest decision I’ve ever made was to leave the reservation and return home to California, but it was the right decision for me personally and professionally to leave the classroom and pursue my coaching career in higher education. New Mexico is truly a “Land of Enchantment” and will always feel like another home for me. I told these students in Middle School that I would return to take this picture of them at their High School graduation and this picture is evidence of that dream come true.

4. What is something personal we should know?
I’m a passionate traveler, I’ve been to six continents and have plans to tackle the seventh.

Diana Ideus5. What is something you are looking forward to in the future?
A lot of my work coaching, training, mentoring and managing has been virtual as I support individuals and businesses across the United States. While I’m thankful to have developed the remote management and coaching skill set along with relationships in so many states, I’m excited to return home to California, live on the beach, and support businesses locally.
