Our clients achieved numerous accolades and breakthrough performances in 2017, and we are proud to have been a part of it through our collaborative efforts and comprehensive engagements. We tallied the numbers and found that our average client reached a 322% three-year growth in revenue in 2017! Here are some of the greatest successes from our 52 clients in 2017, and we hope to help all of our clients achieve even more in 2018.

AM Sun SolarA.M. Sun Solar

After engaging with Collaboration, A.M. Sun Solar, the #1 solar company on the Central Coast and #8 in all of California, saw a 270% increase in revenue and a three-year growth of 628%. Inc. Magazine ranked A.M. Sun Solar as the fastest growing solar company on the Central Coast of California, with an overall ranking of 728 on the Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest growing private companies in the nation. Collaboration helped the leadership team understand their roles and ensured consistency in implementing their business plans. A.M. Sun Solar now enjoys the highest revenue and profit in the company’s history, thanks in part to the strategic growth plan Collaboration helped them implement.

Morris _ GarritanoMorris & Garritano Insurance Agency

Morris & Garritano was featured as the Best Agency to work for by Insurance Journal, as well as one of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies by the Pacific Coast Business Times. This family-owned business earned a spot on the influential Inc. 5000 list, with a 2016 revenue of $17.2 million and a three-year growth rate of 62%. Collaboration’s engagement with Morris & Garritano focused on building the next generation of managers as they transitioned into new, powerful roles within the company. Leadership and employee coaching and accountability standards were implemented, and plans for an enhanced shareholder program resulted in three new shareholders.  

Anderson Burton Construction

Collaboration was brought on to assist the leadership at Anderson Burton Construction, a thriving construction management company. Through the engagement, Anderson Burton experienced sustainable growth, building itself from a $500k company to earning $70 million annually. Plus, Anderson Burton was awarded the Minority Construction Firm of the Year in 2016, and prior to that was the SBA’s Region IX Contractor of the Year. Even more impressive, CEO Joni Anderson was honored with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Growth Master Award for the company’s work in the public sector.


Just like our valued clients, we also had an incredible 2017, achieving 50% growth. We hired two new employees who are integral to our projects and client engagements; one of them, Zheila Pouraghabagher, was accepted into the Forbes Coaches Council, where she shares her sage advice with business leaders and executive teams all around the country. We expanded to San Francisco, bringing our expertise to even more clients who seek breakthrough performance. Looking forward to 2018, we will continue to aid businesses in embedding scalable management and accountability structures while accelerating financial growth; creating and executing customized strategies to boost profits and build a sustainable business; and building management infrastructure and growth strategies to reach financial and sales goals.
