I am so excited to be speaking during a breakout session at the Western Business Alliance (WBA) LGBT Economic Summit & Conference taking place Mar. 14 to 16 in LA. As a member of the LGBT community and head of a team of allies, this is a great opportunity for us to bring our business best practices to a conference whose mission is to advocate on behalf of the LGBT economic equality movement. Thought leaders from 23 cities will impart their knowledge during breakout sessions.
This year’s Economic Summit is centered around supplier diversity. At the summit’s premier Lunch Confab event, “Understanding and Improving the Effectiveness of Supplier Diversity”, WBA is bringing together leaders from a variety of diverse communities to evaluate how businesses can effectively improve supplier diversity.
Everyone who is seeking ways to address issues in the LGBT community or how to incorporate a more diverse team within their company is invited to attend, learn, share, and collaborate. From “Marketing to Millennials” and “Best Practices for Transgender Inclusion in the Workplace” to “LGBT Housing and Homelessness”, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from an amazing array of thought leaders and leave with actionable takeaways.
My presentation, sponsored by Southern California Edison, is “Growing a Scalable, Profitable Business”. I’ll lead attendees through our Scalable Growth Model™ and help them assess their gaps in leadership and management infrastructure to ultimately maximize profit margins and reduce risk.
The WBA LGBT Economic Summit & Conference is essential for every business leader, no matter how large or small your company. Learn how to best incorporate diverse communities and best practices into your workplace. Don’t forget to stop by our booth! I can’t wait to meet everyone and share our work with you.
